In partnership with a platform of NGOs working for the rights of Albinos, the UNJHRO is organizing on 27 and 28 May 2015 in Utex 2, Kinshasa, a training workshop on Basic Human Rights notions, human rights of persons with disability and particularly Albinos.

More than 30 participants are attending the training which is perfectly in line with General Assembly Resolution 69/170 of 18 December 2014 which established the 13 June of each year as the International Day of sensitization on Albinism and which called on every State member, UN Agency, International and regional Organzations and individuals to sensitize the entire population on the respect and protection of the rights of Persons with albinism and to put an end to the numerous violations of the rights of Albinos throughout the world.
