Following the visit of the Security Council to the Democratic Republic of Congo from 11 to 13 November, the President of the Security Council made the following statement on behalf of the Council, regarding the situation in the country
This activity is part of a series of initiatives undertaken by MONUSCO to strengthen community dialogue in Ituri, particularly in the Djugu territory.
Around 400 people are currently being held in Beni prison for offences linked to armed activities.
