Martin Kobler head of MONUSCO strongly condemns the killing of MONUSCO staff in Beni

Kinshasa, 05 February 2014: “One MONUSCO national staff was shot dead this morning while going to work. On behalf of the entire Mission I strongly condemn this killing”, said Martin Kobler, Special Representative of the Secretary General in DRC, and Head of MONUSCO.

Martin Kobler added:” I urge the authorities to immediately launch an inquiry and arrest the perpetrators of this horrible act; the persons involved should be brought to justice as soon as possible.”
