MONUSCO update religious leaders in Kisangani on its mandate

MONUSCO Public Information Section in Kisangani organized on 27 August 2015, a conference-debate to explain the Mission;s mandate to religious members in Kisangani. About fifty leaders took part in the meeting that took place at 14, Parish Bonne Semence, Avenue in the township of Tshopo.


The objectives pursued through the sensitization session were to get leaders of the different religious denominations to understand MONUSCO’s mandate, to help the Congolese population to understand the stakes of the upcoming elections and promote the culture of dialogue and productive debated among the communities living in the Tshopo province.
