Situation of human rights and the activities of the United Nations Joint Human Rights Office in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

In the present report, submitted pursuant to Human Rights Council resolution 30/26, the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights reports on the human rights situation and the activities of the United Nations Joint Human Rights Office in the Democratic Republic of the Congo from June 2015 to May 2016.

The report assesses the progress made by the Government in implementing the previous recommendations made by the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights and other United Nations human rights mechanisms.
