This equipment is intended to strengthen the operational capacity of the Provincial Assembly, which was forced to relocate from Goma to Beni following the capture of Goma by the AFC/M23 in January 2025.
During a three-day meeting, 75 local stakeholders contributed to the validation of the plan, including the mayors of the five municipalities of Oicha, Mangina, Kyondo, Bulongo, and Lume, chiefs of chiefdoms and sectors, representatives of the National Intelligence Agency (ANR), and members of civil society.
Local authorities, the Armed Forces of the Democratic Republic of Congo, and internally displaced persons unanimously praised the actions of the Nepalese contingent.
