Embodying hope and commitment
In eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, where serious security and humanitarian challenges persist, peace efforts are carried out every day in highly demanding conditions. In this context, certain individuals stand out through the consistency of their commitment, their strong sense of duty, and their humanity. Commander Hakima EDAHRI, Head of the Engagement Section and Gender Focal Point of the Rapid Deployment Battalion of the Royal Moroccan Armed Forces within MONUSCO, is one of them. Through her work, she embodies a determined presence dedicated to the protection of civilians and the consolidation of peace.
