On the sidelines of the celebration of International Women’s Day, a public “Okapi Service” program was organized on Tuesday, March 24, by MONUSCO’s Public Information Division in collaboration with “Balobaki Check” to discuss feminism and disinformation.
Among the guests were feminist activists, representatives of women’s organizations, and journalists. The audience included students, journalists, and political actors.
During this interactive program, members of the audience took the floor to ask questions to the panelists.
The program was hosted by Jody Daniel Nkashama. Joining him were three guests:
  • Ms. Eslie Lotendo, coordinator of the feminist movement “Biso Basi Telema”
  • Ms. Léa Otshudi, Program Officer at “Balobaki Check”
  • Charlotte Sylvie Songue-Prisco, coordinator of women’s rights and gender programs at the United Nations Joint Human Rights Office.
