Durant le mois de janvier 2016, le BCNUDH a documenté 411 violations des droits de l’homme sur le territoire de la RDC, ce qui représente une hausse par rapport au mois de décembre 2015 au cours duquel 347 violations avaient été enregistrées. Les provinces les plus touchées sont encore une fois celles de l’est de la RDC (293 violations et 578 victimes), à savoir les provinces du Nord-Kivu (159 violations), de l’Ituri (80 violations), du Haut-Uélé (35 violations), du Sud-Kivu (11 violations), de la Tshopo (cinq violations) et du Bas-Uélé (trois violations).
