Durant le mois de janvier 2017, le BCNUDH a documenté 427 violations des droits de l’homme sur l’étendue du territoire de la RDC ce qui représente une baisse significative par rapport au nombre de violations enregistrées pendant le mois de décembre 2016 (602 violations). Parmi ces violations, au moins 66 sont des atteintes au droit à la vie dont 12 exécutions extra-judiciaires par des agents de l’Etat ayant fait 26 victimes. Les agents de l’Etat sont responsables de plus de 56% du total des violations enregistrées. Les groupes armés tous confondus ont été responsables de près de 44% du nombre total de violations enregistrées sur l’ensemble du territoire.
