Bukavu, 21 February 2011 – Blue Helmets based in Bukavu, in the South Kivu Province, intervened on 21 February to put off fire in a home located in the nearby town of Mitti.

Kinshasa, 14 February 2011 – The UN Police Unit in charge of training, in collaboration with the Congolese Police Complaints Authority, initiated a week-long training for the National Police trainers which started on 14 February.

Bukavu, 5 February 2011 – The Deputy Force Commander of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo (MONUSCO), Major-General Adrian J. Foster, visited the South Kivu Brigade Area of Responsibility from 4 to 8 February 2011.
