Vehicle Accident Took Place near MARABO. On 22 June at around 0830 hours one lorry and car collided at a location about 3 km South from MARABO COB. After receiving the information a patrol from MARABO COB led by COB COMD went the spot and found that the there were five injured persons who were already evacuated to NYAKUNDE Hospital by the local inhabitants. The patrol then used their APCs to move the vehicles out of the road. FARDC 13 Brigade Comd was also present at the place of incident. Local people showed their gratitude to MONUSCO troops for promptly clearing a busy road such as this and preventing the inevitable looting of goods from the lorry.
